These initiatives facilitate the mainstream adoption of organ-on-a-chip technology, also known as microphysiological systems, within our industry.
This includes direct and indirect projects with agencies such as FNIH, ICCVAM, and C-PATH, which are working with the FDA to facilitate interagency coordination and accelerate the phasing out of animal testing for preclinical safety and toxicity testing in favor of more human-relevant approaches (see below).
