BCP Partnering Portal / Fida Biosystems ApS
Tools for protein characterization are in constant development. One of the newest and most exiting tools is the Fida 1 analyzer from Fida Biosystems, which enables measurement of both tertiary structures and binding affinities of biomolecules and multi-component complexes ranging from 0,3 to 1000 nm in size. The in-solution measurement is buffer independent and can be performed in under native conditions without any requirement for immobilization.
Our Fida 1 instrument is advancing customer's research within Conformational Changes, Oligomeric State Analysis, Membrane Proteins, Targeted Protein Degradation, Nanoparticles, Fibrils, Liquid-Liquid Phase Separations and much more.
The core measurement of the FIDA technology, or Flow-Induced-Dispersion- Analysis, is a measure of biomolecular size in nanometers. The readout is more accurate than any other biophysical technology, and can measure in crude matrices like Serum/Plasma, Cell Lysate and Fermentation Media.
Applications: Oligomeric state Stoichiometry Ternary complex formation Cooperativity Ubiquitination Fraction bound Conformational changes Multiple bindings Immunogenicity Quantification in complex solutions Functional interactions Affinity constants Molecular size / hydrodynamic diameter (0,1-1.000 Dh) Diffusion coefficient Viscosity
