Status

It is a privately held enterprise based out of 6, Bijoy Bose Road, Kolkata 700025, and has a team of professionals with past experience of operating in diverse but relevant industry space, having its branch in New Delhi . We have residence representative in Chennai and Hyderabad.

Experience :

The Management Team in OBPPL has experienced professionals who have a rich mix of both experience, leadership, knowledge and commitment and have a strong resolve to run an enterprise with high ethical standards while being focused to the customer needs. OBPPL promoters have both hands on experience of selling and supporting equipment / instruments catering to the Life Science and Clinical Diagnostic market through their respective professional associations which runs into decades. The team has work experience in selling, servicing and managing business pan India for companies like Wipro, Beckman Coulter , Agilent , BD , ABI , GE Pharmacia , Bio-Rad, Millipore, DAKO, Abbott ( Molecular Division) , Leica to name a few in the analytical and clinical in vitro diagnostic market.

A short profile of the Management team is as:

A) Mr Tanmoy Mitra
Mr Mitra has a Master of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata with specialization in Control System.
Mr Mitra , has more than two decades of hands on experience with professional companies like Wipro as Senior Service Engineer and used to look after installation, commissioning and after sales support of various sophisticated instruments used for research, industry and quality control. In his role as a service engineer he had been trained on various sophisticated state of art Analytical and Diagnostic equipment by the manufacturers overseas in UK, Japan, Switzerland, and Singapore , Germany , USA France etc.

B ) Mr Dipak Banerjee
Mr Banerjee , a post graduate in Organic Chemistry, spent more than two and a half decades in the space of marketing and selling of in vitro Clinical Diagnostic products and services with companies such as Boehringer , Beckman and RFCL at regional levels and with national responsibilities also . He had been responsible for running Business Units as profit heads and delivered results consistently as a leader and has always been a hands on person who leads by example.

C) Mr Partha Sarathi Ghosh :
Mr Ghosh , a post graduate in Life Sciences , has also more than two decades of industry experience working with different companies both in the biotech and healthcare supply industries .
He had been working with companies like Pharmacia: in the bio molecule purification and characterization areas both as technical support and in sales function
Later he joined Wipro BioMed and had been with them in both Analytical and Medical divisions in a national role responsible for business launch, growth and profits for flexible and rigid endoscopies. He then shifted to Wipro Infotech and had been responsible for Large A/C.
Moved out to Millipore India, heading their Life Sciences Business for the country
The last assignment of Mr Ghosh was with Avesthagen as a VP of Business Development responsible for engagements with both domestic and international collaborative relations for Biopharmaceuticals product marketing and in a consulting and development roles.
D) Mr. Kailash Pradhan:
Mr Pradhan, Post Graduate in Organic Chemistry, has more than 2 decades of experience working with different companies in Diagnostics field. He has about 15 years of experience in Clinical Biochemistry starting with Accurex Biomedical Pvt Ltd and later in Lilac Medicare. Besides ha has 7 year experience in IHC and histopathology in Biogenex and Leica Biosystems. Last position, he was working as Business Manager with Leica for the Advance Staining business where he was looking after the Immunohistochemistry and FISH reagents and automation business.

E) Mr.Subhadip Roy:
Mr.Subhadip Roy, M.Sc Biotech- from Garden City College, Bangalore University having work experience of 10 years and worked with Blood banking Industry, fine chemicals and Molecular Diagnostics. He was last working with DSS Image Tech for Dako IHC & HE solution and Abbott Molecular ( RT PCR and FISH) looking after East and North eastern India Market.

The long experience of the promoters in the industry space of Clinical – Diagnostic / Analytical equipment and reagent / consumables, has given them an edge in understanding the needs and challenges and expectations of Institutional Customers.

OBPPL service team is fully trained to carry out complete Installation, Training and Application support for the equipments we deal with. Our technical support staff is amongst the most competent in the field to provide warranty and post warranty supports, undertake troubleshooting and cater to any other validation and qualification requirements as per regulatory authorities.

Needles to mention that we have complete facilities like Drug Licence , enough cold storage facilities, field sales force, delivery personal etc
