Purpose

J.C. Gonzalez, Inc., D/B/A Audio & Video Pro Caribe is a Puerto Rico-USA Corporation incorporated in January 2001 in San Juan, Puerto Rico by Mr. Julio C. Gonzalez. This corporation was created to sell, market and service optical and digital instruments in the territory of Puerto Rico to include microscopes and stereoscopes, as well as research andclinical equipment to the educational, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, research and clinical market.
Actual Market

For the last 20 years, J.C. Gonzalez, Inc., D/B/A AVP Caribe Scientific has sold optical microscopes to the pharmaceutical, researchers, hospitals, medical schools, clinical laboratories, electronics and manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico, mainly Olympus microscopes. We also sell all brands of Digital Cameras for microscopy as well as ancillary equipment for microbiology, biotechnology, molecular pathology and other Quality Control applications. We sell the full Sanyo Biomedical line of products that include freezers, cryogenic freezers, gas and non gas incubators, laboratory refrigerators and personal autoclaves to the research, educational, industrial and pharmaceutical community. We also we sell various Image Analysis Software for research, for qualitative and quantitative measurements, particle counting and image documentation that are fully compliant with CFR Part 11. Last year AVPCaribe created a new division for Biotechnology research equipment to expand our market share locally, representing Biotechnology equipment suppliers from around the world.
Services

We service and repair all brand of microscopes and stereoscopes. We have an Industrial Biotechnology Sales person, a Marketing Specialist and an Imaging Specialist Sales person. We are developing our validation team for Microscopy Validation and CFR Part II implementation for microscopy documentation and our technical personnel consists of a Chemist, a Mechanical Engineer, a Certified Microscope Repair Technician, a Biomedical Engineer and an Optics Specialist with over 12 years experience in Laser research.
