Spectronic Camspec Ltd is the UK’s largest independent laboratory instrument sales and service organisation. Established in 1971, the company first operated as Spectronic Analytical Instruments and solely serviced instruments. Over the years, its respected reputation for quality and service grew to such an extent that a number of leading manufacturers invited Spectronic to be their UK distributors. Operating nationally and internationally from its Leeds head office, Spectronic Camspec market and service a wide range of leading analytical instruments including food texture analysers, UV/VIS spectrophotometers, FTIR spectrophotometers, mercury analysers, polarimeters, refractometers, flame photometers and a comprehensive range of electrochemical instrumentation for all laboratories.

In 1993, the company’s Quality Management System was assessed and approved by National Quality Assurance Limited against the following management system standards: BS5750: part 2 ISO 9002: EN29002: 1987 progressing through to the current certificate
