About Laser 2000 Foundation Laser 2000 was founded in Munich in 1986 by Armin Luft. The objective in setting up the company was to offer the customer the most innovative "optical technologies" products of leading providers around the world from a single source. Laser 2000 is serving European research laboratories and industries involved in photonics for more than 20 years, and has extended its sales force across Europe with sister companies in U.K., France, BeNeLux, Spain and Sweden. Continuous Growth Following strong and steady growth, connected with several site changes, the foundation stone for the company’s own building was laid in the "Argelsrieder Feld" technology park in Wessling near Munich. In addition to modern, up-to-the-minute office premises, intensive work was also dedicated to providing fully equipped application and demonstration laboratories and seminar rooms for product and customer training.
