HVD Life Sciences Vertriebs GmbH

HVD was founded in 1994 and began business life working out of Vienna. Before launching the company we recognised that, within the life science business sector, there was a good number of manufacturing companies looking for a partner to help support their marketing, distribution and aftersales activities in a number of specialized geographic markets. Clearly the service we provide has proved attractive, as we have to date over 11,000 customers.

We have established further offices in Bratislava, Budapest, Doha, Moscow, Prague and Warsaw and employ over 70 permanent members of staff. Our personnel are drawn from a wide cultural background, they are fluent in all major languages of the regions in which we operate and have dispensable practical local knowledge.

Our experience and market knowledge have enabled us to establish longterm relationships with many of our customers. Built upon mutual trust and reliability our customers feel confident in our ability to provide a level of service and after-sales care, which is in keeping with their own standards.

ISO 9001:2008 certified

HVD Vertriebs-Gesellschaft m.b.H. was first certified with ISO 9002:1994 in May 1997, recertified in May 2000. In the same year HVD Life Science Vertriebs-GmbH. joined the audit and also achieved the first ISO 9002:1994 certification.

In May 2003 HVD Vertriebs-Gesellschaft m.b.H. and HVD Life Science Vertriebs-GmbH. have changed to the latest standard of ISO and succeeded in getting the certificate for ISO 9001:2000. This also was successfully done for HVD Biotech Vertriebsgesellschaft m.b.H..
