History

ORNAT was founded in 1990 By Yossi Friedlander (Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Weizmann Institute) and Ran Lev (M.Sc. in Microbiology and Immunology, HUJI). It is a privately owned company that established itself in the local market as a leading exclusive distributor of major manufacturers of laboratory research reagents, instruments and consumables in a variety of life sciences domains, including genomics, proteomics and cell Biology.

Since 2001 ORNAT has been certified to the quality management system standards (ISO 9001:2008).

ORNAT is located in the city of Rehovot near the heart of the Israeli life science Center.
